The major cricket tournaments and series from October 2026 to October 2027, with the time each one typically starts on the US East Coast. Bookmark it. Boards announce and move dates through the year, so we update this page as they do. Anything not yet officially announced is marked Expected or TBC, with the 2026 window shown for reference.

The calendar

Times are Eastern (ET) and converted from each board's published local start time. “The night before” means the match starts the evening before the listed date in the US. Check the official fixture list before each match: start times change, and weather can delay or shorten games.

“Confirmed” means the dates have been announced; individual fixtures, venues and start times can still change. This is a selection of the biggest men's competitions and series plus ICC events, not every match played worldwide.

How to read the ET times

Australia and New Zealand — night games (the Big Bash, T20Is) land around 3 AM ET. Tests and day games start the evening before in the US, so a Boxing Day Test in Melbourne begins at 6:30 PM ET on Christmas Day.
India and Pakistan — evening games (IPL, PSL, home T20Is) fall in the US morning; day games and Tests run overnight.
UAE and South Africa — the ILT20 and SA20 mostly play in the US morning.
England — summer Tests start early in the morning ET; The Hundred is an afternoon game for US fans.
The Americas — the CPL and Major League Cricket are the evening-ET leagues.

Clock changes shift everything by an hour: US clocks go back on November 1, 2026 and forward on March 14, 2027, and Australia, New Zealand and the UK change on their own dates.

The year at a glance

October – December 2026 — India's all-format tour of New Zealand, England's white-ball tour of Australia, the ILT20 in the UAE, and the start of the Big Bash League on December 12.
January – March 2027 — the BBL final on January 26, the SA20, a five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy in India, the first ICC Women's Champions Trophy, and the 150th anniversary Test at the MCG.
March – May 2027 — the PSL (confirmed for March 18 to May 2) and the IPL (expected; dates not yet announced).
May – September 2027 — the Ashes in England and the World Test Championship final at The Oval, with MLC, The Hundred and the CPL expected in their usual summer windows.
October 2027 — the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia begins on October 2.

Frequently asked questions

Why is so much cricket on overnight in the US?

Most cricket is played in Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa and the UK, between about 5 and 18 hours ahead of Eastern time. An evening game in Melbourne starts around 3 AM ET, while a Test that starts in the morning in Australia, New Zealand or India begins the evening before in the US.

Do the ET start times change when the clocks change?

Yes. US clocks go back on November 1, 2026 and forward on March 14, 2027, and Australia, New Zealand and the UK change on their own dates. The same local start time can therefore land an hour earlier or later in ET across a season. The times in this calendar account for the US change on each date shown.

Which cricket can I watch in the evening Eastern time?

The Caribbean Premier League (August to September) and Major League Cricket (June to July) are the evening-ET leagues. The Hundred plays in the afternoon ET, and the Ashes and other summer Tests in England start in the morning ET.

When does IPL 2027 start?

Not confirmed yet. The BCCI has said IPL 2027 could start around March 10 and finish by mid-May, but no official schedule has been published. PSL 12 is confirmed for March 18 to May 2, 2027, so the two leagues are expected to overlap.
